NUNAOIL A/S, established in 1985, is the National Oil Company of Greenland and owned 100% by Government of Greenland. NUNAOIL is today carried partner with 7 international oil companies in 13 exploration- and exploitation licenses covering about 131.364 km2 offshore Westgreenland. NUNAOIL expects to be partner with new oil companies in connection with the ongoing Baffin Bay licensing round, offshore Northwest Greenland and the coming licensing round in Greenland Sea, Northeast Greenland.
