NOIA gearing up for 2010 Conference: Play on the Edge

March 4, 2010 - Newfoundland & Labrador Oil & Gas Industries Association’s (NOIA) has been gearing up for its 2010 Conference slated for June 15-17 at the St. John’s Convention Centre and Delta Hotel, St. John’s. Conference Chair, Geoff Cunningham says that the conference just keeps getting better every year. “It’s the must-attend for those at for forefront of the oil & gas industry, last year we had over 900 participants and we are hoping to top that year.” This year’s conference is called, Play on the Edge and will feature operator updates and information on current and future opportunities in Newfoundland & Labrador and other Arctic regions.

Oil and gas exploration is going father, deeper, colder and the Arctic Region is the next frontier. Well positioned to meet the challenges of working in this harsh environment, Newfoundland and Labrador is the ideal location to examine the prospects and opportunities arising as oil and gas companies look north for future development.

The NOIA Conference is the region's premier oil and gas industry event.

This event will feature a variety of information sessions with presentations from some of the industry’s top players and experts including:

• Husky Energy
• Suncor
• ExxonMobil
• Cairn Energy
• Chevron
• Statoil
• Nunaoil
