Arctic Challenges - East Coast Solutions

Newfoundland & Labrador Oil & Gas Industries Association (NOIA) will begin the first day of its international conference on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at St. John’s Convention Centre.  

Some of the highlights of Tuesday’s schedule include:

- Opening address by the Honourable Danny Williams, Premier of Newfoundland & Labrador
- Session 1: Major Projects & Opportunities, with speakers from ExxonMobil, StatoilHydro and Federation of Norwegian Industries.
- Keynote Luncheon Address - Where in the world is the world headed? – Stephen Lewis, one of TIME magazine’s “100 Most Influential People in the World” at the Delta Hotel at 12:30 p.m.
- Session 2: Technologies for Arctic Environments, including speakers from Murmansk Region, IMV Projects Atlantic, C-CORE and Petro-Canada.
